The master development consisted of 226 Townhomes and 256 Single Family Homes within a 152 acre property located within the Town of Miami Lakes. The site included an existing 68 acre on-site lake, which was to remain as part of the site plan layout. HSQ Group provided civil engineering services for both the on-site development and required off-site improvements. The overall development was permitted in two (2) separate phases and included the following infrastructure; 10,700’ of 8” D.I.P. Water Mains, 4,600’ of 12” D.I.P. Water Mains, 14,000’ of 8” P.V.C. / D.I.P. Gravity Sewer Mains, 3,500’ of 8” D.I.P. Force Mains and 1,200’ of 12” D.I.P. Force Mains. HSQ designed and permitted two (2) master public sewage pump stations based on both
MD-WASD and MDC-RER standards.
The project also included the reconstruction of Northwest 154th Street, including the modification of the existing traffic signal at the Northwest 87th Avenue intersection. These improvements were designed and permitted by HSQ Group and proceeded through the Town of Miami Lakes and Miami-Dade County Public Works & Traffic Divisions.
