Project Description: Master Drainage Analysis & Design
HSQ Group provided drainage design services to the City of Homestead for their downtown area. The scope of work includes analysis of the existing drainage systems within an 83 acre boundary, which included evaluating over 140 existing drainage structures. Based on the drainage study, which includes numerous field inspections and major utility coordination, recommendations were made to the city regarding potential drainage improvements throughout the project area. Engineering construction plans were prepared based on approved recommendations. The project was permitted through Miami Dade County D.E.R.M. – Water Control Section. Utility Coordination with AT&T, Homestead Energy and Comcast Cable was conducted throughout the different project phases (35%, 65% and 100% Submittals).
