His focus: land development for residential and commercial projects, as well as government civil and planning projects. In 2018, Jay served on the executive committee as the membership chair for Gold Coast Builders Association (GCBA). Under his leadership, membership grew significantly. Among his contributions to the organization, Jay created the on-line phone directory application called Directory Spot for GCBA. He also started new-member orientation meetings, as well as prepared GCBA membership flyers, with the help of the membership committee team and GCBA staff, to illustrate the value of membership.
In 2019 and 2020, Jay served as the first associate president of the GCBA. Under his leadership, GCBA grew membership, strengthened government affairs, and helped the organization thrive during the COVID pandemic.
Jay now is a Life Director at GCBA and oversees the Future Builders of America program. Jay is a member of the Florida Engineering Society, National Society of Civil Engineers, USGBC South Florida chapter, and the American Planning Association.
