Antonio Quevedo graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He has more than 25 years of experience in civil engineering design, project management, and construction management. His experience includes water distribution systems, wastewater collection and transmission systems, sewage pump station design, drainage systems, and roadways. He has completed many residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

In addition, he also has worked on various municipal and neighborhood-improvement projects for Miami-Dade Water & Sewer Department, Miami-Dade Transit, and several municipalities throughout the county. He has extensive permitting experience within Miami-Dade County including processing permits through MD-WASD, MD-RER (DERM), MDC Public Works Department, FDOT (District 6), Dade County Health Department, and the FDEP, in addition to several other state and local governmental agencies and municipalities.

By working in several counties and municipalities, he has been able to develop an institutional knowledge of the various regulatory mandates for these areas. That work and knowledge also have afforded him the opportunity to develop relationships with many department officials.

Antonio is a member of The Florida Engineering Society, American Society of Engineers, National Society of Civil Engineers, The Cuban American Association of Civil Engineers, and the American Water Works Association.
