Project Description:   County Roadway Project

HSQ Group’s involvement in this project was to assist the Broward County Engineering Department in the design and permitting of the most critical elements of the project.  HSQ Group prepared the drainage design and flood routing analyses, on behalf of the county, for this project. HSQ also provided support during the permitting process. This county project consists of 1.7 miles of a 4-lane divided roadway with bridge crossing over the S.F.W.M.D. C-13 Canal.

Project Description:   Roadway Improvements

HSQ Group was a sub-consultant to Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. for this project.  The roadway improvements were implemented by the City of West Plam Beach on behalf of the F.D.O.T. (District 4). The scope of services for HSQ involved drainage design analyses, preparation of drainage structure sheets, permitting through both the Lake Worth Drainage District and the South Florida Water Management District and utilities coordination and conflict resolution.

Project Description:   County Roadway Project

The scope of work for this major intersection involves the addition of a third northbound left turn lane. A right-of-way team was assembled under the management of HSQ Group with a total of nine (9) sub-consultants. Alternates were evaluated to avoid/minimize impact to the adjacent gas stations, bank and other commercial stores. Recommendations were made to the county. Construction plans preparation, signing and pavement marking, drainage analyses and permitting are part of the scope of services for this project.

Location:   Town of Davie,  Broward County,  Florida

Client:   Carlisle Development Group & Broward County Housing Authority

Project Description:   13 Acre Affordable Housing Development – 155 Units

HSQ Group is the Civil Engineer for this  affordable housing rental apartment complex located in the Town of Davie.  The civil design included paving, drainage (lake and dry detention areas) water mains, gravity sewer and off-site road improvements.  The project has been designed to meet USGBC LEED Gold standards.  Other services provided included permitting thru the Town of Davie, Central Broward Water Control District, Broward County Health Department, NPDES and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
